- FACETS: The Fast Analog Computing with Emergent Transient States Project was initiated with the goal of creating a foundation for novel computing paradigms based on concepts observed in biological nervous systems. Early efforts in the areas of theory and models led to the development of FacetsML, which focused on model specifications at the neuronal network level. At this point, all of the functionality of FacetsML has been included in NeuroML so that PyNN can interface directly with NeuroML.
